Frequently Asked Questions

Nicotine Salt is derived from Nicotine in its natural salt form, directly from the tobacco leaf. Nic Salt E-Liquids are absorbed into the body at a much faster rate than regular e-liquid keeping nicotine cravings at bay for longer periods of time.

Nic Salt E-Liquids are formulated with nicotine in its salt form, which is found naturally in tobacco leaves. “Freebase” e-liquids use pure nicotine, which is diluted down into a VG (Vegetable Glycerin) or PG (Propylene Glycol) Base. Freebase means that the nicotine molecules are freely suspended in a base material mix.

Nic Salts are best matched with pod/coil resistances ranging from 0.6ohms to 1.2ohms. Some devices may have coils or pods that are specifically designed for use with Nic Salt E-Liquids, but as long as you are within the range stated, you will be fine.

Nicotine Salts typically offer 5mg, 10mg or 20mg strength options, with 20mg being the usual choice for those that were heavy smokers (20+ cigarettes per day), or that are switching from 2% disposable vapes. A light smoker of around 10 or less per day  will typically opt for the 5mg option, whereas a moderate smoker of around 10-20 per day will typically opt for a 10mg.

Nic Salts are best matched with pod vape kits using pod/coil resistances ranging from 0.6ohms to 1.2ohms. You can also use Nic Salts in pen style kits and lower powered box style kits, providing that they meet the coil resistance range stated previously.

Some benefits of vaping Nic Salt E-Liquids include a smoother hit at higher nicotine strengths, meaning no harsh hit like you get with freebase E-Liquids. You don’t have to run your device as high a wattage, due to higher nicotine strengths and they can replicate the hit that you would get from disposable vapes.

20mg or 2% is the highest legal strength available in the UK due to regulations that have been set by the TPD (Tobacco Products Directive). There are also 5mg (0.5%) and 10mg (1%) strengths available.
