Frequently Asked Questions

E-Liquid otherwise known as Vape Juice or Vape liquid is the fluid that you fill your e cigarette or your vape with.

This liquid is specially made as an alternative to traditional tobacco. Vape juice can be used to fill any type of device that is refillable, from your traditional Vape pens, e-cigarette tanks or pod kits.

Eliquid or vape juice is available in many different flavours, from traditional tobacco flavours to mint and menthol flavours and also a wide range of fruit flavours. As for what flavour is the best - this is  entirely personal preference.

We would recommend trying a few different flavours to get an idea of what you like best. It's often the case that your tastes change the longer you vape and the flavour you liked to begin with aren't necessarily the flavours you like further down the line.

Vape juice or e-liquid is formulated with both natural and artificial flavourings, Vegetable Glycerine (VG) and Propylene Glycol (PG) are another main ingredient with a varying amount of nicotine depending on the strength of liquid you require. This can be from zero to 20mg.

Freebase nicotine is the traditional version of nicotine in vape juice and e-liquids. Freebase nicotine gives the user more of a throat hit which replicates the sensation of smoking. These liquids come in 10ml bottles and are generally in the strengths of 3mg / 6mg / 12mg and 18mg.

Nicotine Salts or Nic Salt e-liquids were developed for vapers who wanted a smoother throat hit. Nic salts have a faster absorption compared to freebase nicotine, the smoother throat hit allows the user to vape a higher nicotine content while retaining the smooth flavour, Nic salts are used in lower power devices like vape pods kits.

Bar salts are a type of Nic salt e-liquid or vape juice. The difference with Bar Salts is that the flavours are made to replicate disposable vapes or Puff Bars. This means you can usually expect a smooth throat hit with a strong and intense flavour. The formulation of Bar salts typically helps your coil to last longer which can usually be a problem with strong tasting vape juice.

Shortfills are a type of vape juice or e-liquid which come in larger bottles, typically 60ml or 100ml. They can come in different flavours and VG/PG ratios and although they contain flavouring they do not contain any Nicotine. Shortfill bottles are not filled to capacity which allows you to add Nic shots to adjust to your preferred nicotine strength. Typical adjustment is a 100ml shortfill with x2 18mg nic shots added to make 120ml of 3mg vape juice.

Nic Shots or flavourless Nic shots are 10mls of e-liquid containing VG and PG but no flavourings. They come in different nicotine strengths and they can also come in salt nic varieties. Nic shots or Flavour Free eliquids can be vaped on their own, which can be ideal for people who are worried about consuming flavourings or for those that may find flavoured vapes too strong tasting. Nic shots are mostly used to add to shortfill eliquids to increase the nicotine level to the required strength.

Bar juice is a type of shortfill, typically 100mls which is of a 50/50 VG/PG ratio and which contains zero nicotine. The Flavoring in Bar Juice 50/50 shortfills are similar to disposable vapes and bar salts in that they have a smooth throat hit but have a strong and intense flavour. You can add Nic shots to your Bar juice shortfill, a typical way to do this would be to add x2 20mg salt shots to adjust to roughly 3mg of juice.
